The Fountain of Youth Archaeological Park is beautiful during the day, and at night can be even more peaceful, and mysterious. The darkness and the shadows, the light from the moon and stars create an atmosphere that lends well to the telling of the ancient and epic history of the property and St Augustine. After all, this is where St Augustine began in 1565.
Kids will love the Fountain of Youth exhibits and demonstrations, during normal operating hours. The After Hours Tour is focused on ages 10 and up. The darkness and historically accurate subject matter my be unsettling for the younger ages. While the tour subject matter is not graphic or explicit, children under 10 who are easily spooked may not enjoy the experience of the low light atmosphere and subject matter. Frightened children do not make for an enjoyable experience for their guardians, or the other guests.
This tour is on privately owned property. No other tour companies have access to this special venue. Your VIP tour is one of a kind here in St Augustine.
